Week 17 of training for the Racine Irongirl Sprint Triathlon
Monday – taxes and cleaning
Tuesday – 45 minute walk with Andy
Wednesday – 45 min cycling class, lifting arms, 1 mile rule on eliptical
Thursday – bought cycling shoes, just need to figure out what pedals and cleats I want. Viterbo speed networking
swim class plus
150 warm up
200 yards
250 yards - drills with flippers- fist, human, catch up, one arm, finger drag,
350 yards - slow medium fast repeat
150 kick board cool down
200 on own cool down
1300 yards total.
Friday – 1.5 mile walk to downtown,Spring Fling shopping and celebration
Saturday – 10 mile bike ride to bike shops, pedal research and dinner at Ardie's. The Hostage play at Viterbo.
Sunday – 15 plus mile bike ride around town. found two hidden bike trails. yard work. biked to Culver's in tremendous headwinds, enjoyed sundaes during the hail storm. waited it out and quickly biked home in case another one came.
